Driver Registration: Next event TBA

GENERAL INFORMATION

We want to welcome you to come drift NorCal All Stars at Redding Motorsports park. This driver information section is meant to answer your most basic questions, give you a basic outline of the event and guide you through the registration process. Specific detailed driver information Packets will be emailed prior to the event. This event is open to Competitive Drivers as well as non competitive Drivers. Hard fought competition will be the highlight of this event, but will only take up 1 - 2.5 hrs out of the entire NorCal All-star weekend. One crew member admission will be included with Driver registration fee, any additional crew members will be required to pay full admission price.

!!ATTENTION DRIVERS!!

we've had a lot of people try and push to make this an invite only event, out of concern that opening it up to the public will result in catastrophic damages to the kart track and surrounding area. As the organizers of NorCal All-Stars we believe in community and inclusion as opposed to putting up gates and walls for this series, so we fought hard to ensure that happened. However that means we will be on high alert. Beginner level (Not brand new) drifters are more than welcome to participate as long as you respect the track by only attacking corners within your comfort zone and skipping the more advanced ones in order to prevent you from flying off course. failure to do so will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will result in revocation of your kart track driving privileges without refund. We don't want to have to end anyone's day early, but we will for the sake of safety, possibly being able to hold more events here in the future & preserve the track as much as possible. NorCal All-Stars is not recommended to brand new or extremely inexperienced drifters. Cost to register and drive this event will be a flat fee of $200. This allows you to drive both Saturday & Sunday.  Pricing does not change if a driver decides to only drift for one day out of two day event. If you Plan on paying for more than one registration, send each payment and registration information block completely separate in 2 transactions. ARRIVAL 

Camping at the track will be available. Interested Drivers will receive more information. ALL drivers must be at the track early on Saturday September 28th (or 29th for non-competition drivers) to get checked in, attend a safety & information meeting and Tech inspect vehicles for track use.

GENERAL VEHICLE TECH REQUIREMENTS

• No Leaks
• Functioning battery tie down in stock location or battery box if mounted inside vehicle
• All lug nuts present
• Seats securely mounted 
• No cracks in windshield
• No sound limit for motor/exhaust
• No cage required for tandems
• Helmet must be DOT or Snell rated 
• Racing harness not required, but if equipped must be properly mounted to harness bar or roll cage, contact us for any questions

COMPETITION

Top 32 competition will take place on Sunday September 29th. Make no mistake this will be an unlimited class all out NorCal All Star competition with some of the best drivers in the entire region. Entry into the competition will be first come, first serve, meaning no qualifying for this round. We will have a competition wait-list incase there are any competitors that do not show up, or are unable to proceed into competition for any reason. On Friday we will be Checking all new Competition drivers & previously ejected drivers for tandem competency. If you've already completed, driving Friday is not mandatory. Our vetting process will not be based on any particular skill level, but a level of safety. If you are flying off track, constantly spinning out or constantly straightening out you present a danger to other competition drivers. We will be forced to remove you from competition and a wait-list driver will be called to take your place. All competition wait-list drivers but be fully signed for the event, you must be present at the track, driving on Friday and fully prepared to compete, in the event that you are called up Saturday morning.

ALLOWED DRIVERS/CHASSIS 

• Formula Drift Pro:  Formula D pro drivers can compete in NorCal AllStars.  Formula D pro chassis that have competed before 2022 can compete. Pro cars that have competed after 2022 may only participate in non competition Drifting.
• Formula Drift Pro-Spec: Current Formula D Pro-Spec drivers and chassis can participate in NorCal AllStars competition.
• Formula Drift Pro AM: Both drivers and chassis currently competing in a Formula Drift licensing series (or equivalent) to also compete in NorCal AllStars competition 
• All Other Chassis: Allowed - LHD to RHD conversions, fully tubed chassis with body panels. upon pre-approval. Not allowed - AWD & FWD vehicles, Death karts or exoskeleton cars
